“Family Time”

It’s time for our “Family” to come together again for rehearsal, this Sunday, June 24th. Horns and Drums begin at 2pm at the Lyric Band Hall, 20 York Street, Hanover. The color guard will begin at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, in the basement rec hall, 127 York Street, Hanover. At 4pm we will all meet together for a final run through.
Remember we have lots of performances to continue to prepare for:
July 4th – Towson, MD Independence Day Parade. Parade steps off at 10am. Report Time is to be determined.
August 18th – 106th Firefighters Association of York County Convention Parade – Emigsville (York), PA Cook out to follow!
September 2nd – Alumni Spectacular at DCA Championships. Show time is 10 am. Lancers performance time is TBD. There will be a bus available that day if you are not attending DCA Championships that weekend.
There are more events to come – check your schedule!
We are always open to new members! Come check us out!! No cost to you, except to buy a pair of marching shoes!!

Gettysburg Brass Band Festival

The Lancers will participate in the Gettysburg Brass Band Festival this Friday, June 8, 2018.  You can find us performing a free concert on the lawn of the Gettysburg Heritage Center, 297 Steinwehr Avenue.  The program begins at 7pm.  Bring your most comfortable lawn chair.  The corps and color guard will perform for approximately 45 minutes.

Members: you should have received and responded to Sharon’s survey about Friday evening’s performance as part of the Gettysburg Brass Band Festival. Report time is 6pm for the drummers and 6:15pm for everyone else. Summer uniform. Bring a stand if you need it. Details are part of the survey email or you can find them on the Members Only tab of the corps web site.
