Schedule Update and Reminder!

A notice to all members or potential members: Our next rehearsal, Sunday, May 14 has been cancelled!! Please spread the word!!

With that in mind, please note that we have three performances coming up, so please rehearse on your own!!

  • Monday, May 29 – Hanover Memorial Day Parade
  •  Friday, June 9 – Gettysburg Brass Band Festival
  •  Saturday, June 17 – Milton Bicentennial – parade with a concert performance following the parade.

These events are for the entire corps! Horns, drums, color guard and honor guard!!

Apple Blossom Concert and Parade, May 6

It’s time for the Apple Blossom Festival in Winchester, VA! The Lancers will be there, performing at the main grandstand before the parade at approximately 11:30am and then take the bus back to the beginning of the parade for formation.
Lots of details went out in the survey, but if you need them please contact us!!  Here is just a brief run down:

  • Report at 8:15am if you are riding the bus. The bus will leave promptly at 8:30am
  • If you are driving, meet at the Shenandoah University theater front parking lot ready to get on the bus at 10:45am. The bus will leave the theater at 11am.
  • Full uniform – you can change in the theater lobby restrooms.
  • Picnic following the parade in the park behind the theater. Burgers and dogs will be provided. Bring your own drink and maybe consider bringing something to share.
