Welcome!

The Lancers (Alumni) Drum and Bugle Corps was formed in 1990 following a reunion; the competitive corps had folded and dissolved in the winter of 1983.  Today we boast a roster of over 100 members where folks come from all walks of life and range in age from 15 to 80 plus!  We always welcome new members, with and without drum corps experience.  There is no cost to you, other than the purchase of a pair of marching shoes. We supply you with everything you will need.  Stop by and check us out at our next rehearsal or event.  All information can be found on this blog site.  If you have questions please leave your comments here or reach out to our business manager, Andy Crouse.

Hello Elizabeth. We thought that there was previously a response sent, but now it appears that it may not have gone through. Our apologies.

Our rehearsal and even schedule can be found at the top of our web site under their respective tabs. The color guard rehearses at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at 127 York Street. Entrance to the basement rehearsal area is accessed from the outside, to the right of the building as you face the back of the church along East Middle Street. They are there next August 4 at 2pm. At 4pm they will move to the Lyric Band Hall to complete the day with the entire corps. Color Guard instructor, Gwen Shaffer, will be there so be sure to ask for her by name.

Hope this helps answer your questions.

Hello Elizabeth. I see that we did respond to this inquiry before, but wanted to extend an invitation to you, and if you have friends, bring them, too – to our next rehearsal – November 10, 2019. The color guard meets at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 127 York Street, Hanover. 2pm to 4pm, then we move down the street to meet up with the rest of the corps at the Lyric Band Hall – 20 York Street, Hanover. The 2020 season will be exciting as the corps will celebrate 100 years since the first corps was formed! If you have questions, please leave them here or email our business manager, Andy Crouse, at arcgbg@gmail.com or Color Guard instructor, Gwen Shaffer at pembertonmansion@comcast.net. Hope to see you in November!
