2015 “Profiles In Music” Another Success!

The 4th Annual “Profiles In Music,” a Drum & Bugle Corps Showcase had another successful performance to a large and appreciative audience.  This year’s venue was the Red Lion HS Auditorium, hosted by the Red Lion HS Band Staff and the Band Boosters Association.  The facility was beautiful and the “hosts” were extremely accommodating and helpful in making the event another success and we thank them for all their efforts.

Special Thanks to all our participating corps who presented fabulous performances that kept our audience on the edge of their seats all night long.
Connecticut Patriots Senior Ancient Fife & Drum Corps, Reilly Raiders Alumni Drum & Bugle Corps, Blessed Sacrament Golden Knights Alumni Drum & Bugle Corps, Hawthorne Caballeros Alumni Drum & Bugle Corps, the Westshoremen Alumni Drum & Bugle Corps, Saints Brigade Drum & Bugle Corps, USNA Drum & Bugle Corps, and the Lancers Alumni Drum & Bugle Corps.

Other “Thanks” go to our evening’s Emcee, David Patterson, Red Lion HS Band students who helped with ticket collecting and seating, the Lancer members who were “hosts” to our visiting corps, all those members of the Lancers who helped in acquiring our sponsors, selling Ads for our program, acquiring patrons and selling tickets to the performance, and in every other way in the “behind the scenes” work.  Davie & Penny Wales, our Program Coordinators, and Tracy Perry our Ticket Coordinator are extremely important roles.  Very Special Thanks to our Sponsors: Michael C. Anderson, Snyder’s-Lance of Hanover, Boch’s Lunch Wagon, Chuck & Morrisann Wilson, Omni Computer Services, Inc., Robert L. Meckley – the York Tree Family, York Revolution, Rick and Marje Anderson, Anonymous, Gettle Incorporated, Hanover Auto Team, McSherrystown Home Association and Stambaugh Ness.  And finally to ALL OF YOU, our loyal fans who are the reason the show has become so successful.  Without the assistance of ALL these people, our show would be impossible to put together.   THANK YOU TO ALL!!

In 2016, the 5th Annual “Profiles In Music” will be moving to The Pullo Center on the Campus of Penn State York.  This state-of-the-art facility will become the “home” of the Profiles show for many years to come we’re hoping.  All our audience members will be able to order tickets, select their preferred seating on-line at http://pullocenter.yk.psu.edu.  We are very excited about the move and know all our participants as well as our audiences are going to be thrilled with the location.  Following the first of the year we’d urge you to order your tickets early to make sure you are able to acquire the seats you want.  The show will be presented on Saturday, April 9th beginning promptly at 6:00pm.

Keep returning to our web site for the latest information on our show lineup, tickets sponsorships, Ads, patrons, etc.  Again, thanks to everyone who helped in any way to make the 2015 “Profiles In Music” another success.  The Lancers Alumni Drum & Bugle Corps will look forward to seeing you all in 2016 at our new venue.
